2011 - The Year of Changes And Opportunities For Future

Dear GDi GISDATA and Esri Hungary users, partners and geo-information and telecommunication professionals

The GDi GISDATA Group and Esri Hungary announce and warmly welcome you to the co-located 2011 international user conferences: the regional GDi Forum 2011 and the XVI Esri Hungary User Conference which will both take place at the same time and location, on October 6th and 7th in wonderful and attractive city of Budapest, Hungary, at the Boscolo Hotel Conference Center.

With 2011, we introduced the word "GDi Forum" instead of traditional "GD Users Conference (GDUC)" – to better communicate the broader intention and context of the event – to be a real forum, not just gathering of our proud existing users, but also of our new contacts, e.g. business and technical people interested in possibilities of applying technologies, and also a meeting place with our increasing number of industry specialized business partners, both from the region, but also internationally.

At this 2011 Forum, both our international guests, as well as our core Central and Southeast Europe users proud of their successes achieved in applying exciting high-technologies such as the geographical information systems, telecom value added services and the new generation operation support systems shall be able to learn, gather information or present and share experience in applying technology; whether it is a highly analytical single user modeling and engineering or scientifice solution, or a governmental departmental system, or a complete business enterprise solution with service oriented architecture; are more and more - the private, governmental or public cloud service solution.

We believe that this year's GDi Forum 2011 and the Esri Hungary User Conference shall be one of Europe's largest specialized information management and information knowledge exchange forums.

The forum enables users to share past achievements and future visions for e-government at national, regional and local levels, telecommunications, environmental protection and natural resources management, utilities and energy management, transportation and logistics optimization, homeland security, emergency, intelligence and defense management and commercial industry development.

The Central and Southeast Europe economies transition from the crisis and move forward with the major political and economical action plans for restructuring and the innovative information technologies, FTTx and mobile broadband growth and raise of Cloud computing drive the process of societal transformation.

We believe that this event will help you in discovering industry professionals and peers who share your subject matter expertise, thoughts and visions and that it will motivate you to use the opportunities for change; as the world changes from day to day.

To stimulate and make it easier to gather knowledge, specially in the context of turbulent economic situations in our world, in 2011, subject to registering during the "early bird" deadline, the conference participation is free of charge for our GDi GISDATA Group and Esri Hungary users on regular maintenance, our invited guests, as well as for accepted presentation presenters and map/poster exhibitors, who register by the certain deadline. After the deadline, a nominal registration fee to cover the costs may be reguired.

We wish you all the best and successful participation and GDi Forum 2011 and Esri Hungary User Conference 2011!
